An absolutely striking son of the immensely popular Googoo Gaagaa out of the Angus Hall mare Luv You All, Captain Corey was a $150,000 yearling at the 2019 Lexington Selected Sale. He absolutely burst on the scene as a two- year-old capturing 5 of his 7 starts in completely dominant fashion. Those wins included the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes Final. At three, Captain Corey would repeat his juvenile resume, again capturing 5 of 7 starts including a gritty win in the biggest one of them all, The Hambletonian, and a dominant score in the Earl Beal. Injury forced his premature retirement in September. Shares in Captain Corey sold out as soon as they were offered and many prospective purchasers were shut out. Likewise, his book was full and closed almost immediately upon opening. That book will include some of the finest young mares being bred. A perfect outcross for mares by all of the hottest sires and broodmare sires of his generation.
