At Woodbine- Gotcha Covered tops his class in Valedictory Series Final-

Gotcha Covered (Western Ideal-Day Dreams) 3YOGP p,1:55.1 $57,000 Paul MacDonell made a clean sweep of the series for trainer Randy Van Meer and owners Harry Locke and Daniel Sarafian.  Covering the sloppy rated track 4th through early fractions MacDonell made his move after the ½ mile marker and hit the ¾ 2nd and closing.  A 29.1 final fraction took the wire first by a half-length margin and earned the pacer his 4th straight victory in the month of December earning $47,300 in the Valedictory Pacing Series.  Now a winner of $75,755 his sophomore season, Gotcha Covered sports a career best record of 1:52s taken in the first leg of the series on 12-12-09. 

Other Western Ideal sired winners at Woodbine on 12-26-09-

Kindly Poet (Western Ideal-Stonebridge Elite) 6YOGP p,1:53.4 $28,500 nw150000Lt Randy Waples wielded the win taking a three wide path at the ¾ from 7th and kicked in a 27 flat last quarter fraction to take the win by 2-3/4 lengths.  Murray Brethour trains and co-owns the pacer who has earned $116,013 this season and $430,804 lifetime. The winner is also owned in part by Stephen Scarff, Donald Varcoe and Daniel Sarafian and sports a 1:50.2m record taken in 2008.  It was the pacer’s 6th win of ’09 and 3rd straight at Woodbine.

Parlay Hanover (Western Ideal-Paling Avenue) 5YOMP p,1:56.1 $19,950 F-OP 400000C Keith Oliver was in line to the Kevin McMaster trainee taking her 8th win of ’09 charging 2nd over  6th from the ½, 4th to the ¾ marker and using a 28.3 burst to overcome her competition at the wire.  A winner of $120,073 this season for McMaster Stables Inc., Parlay Hanover’s career bankroll is now $265,485 with a 1:50.3s mark taken last year at Mohawk.

Paling Avenue is in foal to American Ideal due in March 2010 and is booked back to Western Ideal for the 2010 breeding season.

Western Ideal’s three year olds earned $5,132,304 in 2009 progeny earnings ranking him 3rd among leading money winning pacing sires and his all age earnings totaled over $11 million this year earning him a spot in the top 5 among pacing sires.  Western Ideal stands at Hanover Shoe Farms of New Jersey for a $15,000 fee in 2010.

Cardiff Hanover (Cam’s Card Shark-Countess Spur) 3YOGP p,1:53.4 Jean Gagne piloted for trainer Paul Derksen in the pacer’s 5th victory of the season and a lifetime best record for owners Lorne Duffield and Rafter H Standardbreds.  Now a winner of $52,441 in his racing career Cardiff scored a 29 flat last panel taking the win by a neck over favorite Blended Whiskey after closing from 5th at the half mile marker.

Cardiff Hanover’s dam, Countess Spur, is in foal to Yankee Cruiser due late April 2010 and is currently booked back to Yankee Cruiser for the 2010 breeding season.  Countess Spur is the dam of 5 $100,000 winners and 2 $400,000 winners including Card Trick Hanover p,1:49.1m $674,717 (also by Cam’s Card Shark) and Courier Hanover p,1:51.2s $415,760.

At Woodbine- Niagara Series Opener-

Allamerican Tout (Dragon Again-To The Manor Born) 3YOFP p,1:54.3 $18,800 Rick Zeron zipped to a garden spot trip from post 9 and opened up by 6-3/4 lengths on the field down the long stretch with a 28.1 final panel clocking for trainer Chantal Mitchell and owner M T Pockets Stables.  It was the filly’s 4th win of ’09 with $49,262 on her card.

Her dam, To The Manor Born, is in foal to Allamerican Native due in April 2010 and is booked back to Yankee Cruiser for 2010.  She sells a Cam’s Card Shark filly, Titled Hanover, next fall.

Also at Woodbine- Valedictory Series continues- Gotcha Covered Repeats

Gotcha Covered (Western Ideal-Day Dreams) 3YOGP p,1:53 $18,800 (Leg 2) Paul MacDonell repeated with the Randy Van Meer trainee taking the filly’s third win of ’09 and second straight in the series.  A three wide move at the ¾ (4th) put the pair in place for the winning move taking the wire first by 1-1/4 lengths for owners Harry Locke and Daniel Sarafian.  Gotcha Covered has earned $47,255 this season and sports a 1:52s record taken in Leg 1 of the series. At Yonkers- Perfectionist is on a roll-

Perfectionist (Western Ideal-Sounds Perfect) 3YOFP p,1:54.3 $36,000 F&M Open Handicap Daniel Dube drove the Jimmy Takter trained sophomore to her second straight F&M Open victory in as many weeks charging from 3rd past the ½ to gain control by the ¾ first over in 1:25.1 and open up down the stretch by 3-1/4 lengths across the finish line.  Owned and bred by Brittany Farms, Perfectionist now boasts $324,331 in career earnings with $193,897 banked in ’09.  Her lifetime record of 1:52f was taken this season at Chester winning the $75,000 Valley Forge 2.

At Yonkers- Native Bride takes F&M Open-

Native Bride (Allamerican Native-Nova) 4YOMP p,1:55.4 $36,000 Brian Sears settled in 6th among the outer flow and urged the Lou Pena trained pacer to the lead from 5th into the stretch drive pulling away by 4 across the wire with a 28.1 last panel.  Owned by Jay Sears and T H Stable LLC, Native Bride was a winner of $555,443 last season as a sophomore taking a career record of 1:50m and sports lifetime earnings of $621,493.

At Dover- Looking leads $26,000 Open Again-

Looking Hanover (Muscles Yankee-Lady Bar) 4YOGT t,1:55 $26,000 Ron Pierce piloted for conditioner Edwin Gannon, Jr. in the trotters second straight victory at Dover in the Open class.  Taking a three wide berth past the ½ mile marker from 5th, Looking shot to 2nd first over past the ¾ and gained control into the stretch trotting homes strongly to finish 2-3/4 lengths the best for owners Dawn Gannon and Yannick Gingras.  It was the 7th victory of ’09 for the winner of $148,870 this season ($193,691 lifetime).

His dam, Lady Bar, sold a Cantab Hall yearling filly, Lady Love Hanover, at Harrisburg for $30,000, foaled a Donato Hanover weanling colt, Littlejack Hanover, and is in foal to Majestic Son due mid-May 2010.

At Woodbine- Valedictory Series - Leg 1 divisions -

Gotcha Covered (Western Ideal-Day Dreams) 3YOGP p,1:52 $18,800 Paul Mac Donell was in the bike for trainer Randy Van Meer 6th to the ½ and making his move with a 27.2 last panel fraction from 5th at the ¾ marker to take the finish by a length and 1/2 ahead of his competition.  Gotcha Covered has won his last two starts at Woodbine and took a new career record with the most recent.  Owned by Harry Locke and David Sarafian, the pacer has banked $28,455 his first season racing.

Stonebridge Deputy (The Panderosa-Stonebridge First) 3YOGP p,1:53 $18,800 Rick Zeron took the lines winning the pacer’s 7th of the year and 3rd straight for trainer/owner Sue Gangell and co-owners Seth Fishman and David Goodrow.  2nd first over to the ½ Stonebridge Deputy claimed the ¾ first and maintained the lead claiming the photo finish at the wire by a nose over Hanover Bred D I Hanover (Western Hanover-Cheers Lauxmont).  A winner of $25,160 thus far in 2009 the gelded pacer took a career best mark with the win.

Also at Woodbine- Mysticism (Dragon Again-Imawesternlady) 3YOCP p,1:52.2 $26,320 nw23000L6 Trainer/driver Rick Zeron sat 6th to the ¾ and headed into the long stretch 4th and gaining ground.  A 26.2 LQ gave the team a length and ¼ victory for owners Old Block Stables Inc., Kenneth Klein, Steve Elliot and Angelo Frassetto.  It was the pacer’s 6th win of 2009 with $89,813 in earnings for the year ($197,313 lifetime) and a 1:49.4s record taken.

Margarita Mary (Andover Hall-Pacific Photo) 3YOFT t,1:54.3 $24,440 NW4R120000 Trainer/Driver Rick Zeron piloted a career best mark on the trotting lass for owners Steve Elliot and Alton Lynch Jr. Inc. closing from 4th past the ¾ marker and beating her competition by 2-1/2 lengths.  Mary is a winner of 6 starts in 2009 with $99,372 banked.

At Freehold- Poker Hat (Cam’s Card Shark-Hatsoff Hanover) 5YOGP p,1:55.4 $8,600 Preferred Pace Andy Miller made a three wide move past the ¾ and closed from 3rd to take the wire by a neck with the Jordan Rubin pupil for owners Richard Lombardo and Howard Taylor.  It was the pacer’s 10 victory of ’09 and 26th lifetime with $164,014 earned this season adding to his bankroll of $470,214.  He established a career best in July at Chester with a 1:49.4f lap time around the 5/8ths oval.

At The Meadows- Spiceberry Hanover (Cantab Hall-Slow Dance Hanover) 3YOFT t,1:56.3 $15,000 FMW2nw4XPM Dave Palone purchased solid real estate on the lead past the ½ mile marker and led the field to the finish with the Ron Burke trainee in her 5th win of ’09.  A career best record was earned by the winner of $121,342 her sophomore season.  Previously 2nd in the Buckette and 3rd in the $200,000 PASS Championship this year, Spiceberry sports a PASS leg victory and $146,789 on her lifetime card for owner Black Horse Racing of NJ.

Her dam, Slow Dance Hanover, sold an SJ’s Caviar yearling, Somedancer Hanover, at Harrisburg in November for $25,000 and is in foal to Cantab Hall due in April 2010.

At Pompano- Special Sweetheart scores again!

Special Sweetheart (Western Ideal-Ladys Special Girl) 3YOFP p,1:53 $13,000 F&M Open Handicap Pace.  Fresh off a track record mile for 3YOFP at Pompano in 1:52.1 on 11-27-09, the Tom Artandi trainee rebounded nicely with a wire to wire win in 1:53 flat from post 7 with Andy Santeramo in the sulky.  A winner of 8 starts in ’09 and $504,505 for the season, Special Sweetheart clocked a 1:50.4 mile at The Meadowlands earlier in her three year old season taking a $61,400 NJSS leg division and paced a 1:51f mile at Chester winning the $350,000 Valley Forge Final for owners/breeders 4 For 3 Stable.  The talented filly sports $669,791 on her lifetime card.

At Yonkers- Perfectionist (Western Ideal-Sounds Perfect) 3YOFP p,1:54 $36,000 F&M Open Handicap.  Piloted by Daniel Dube the Jimmy Takter conditioned pacer took all timers first and pulled away for a 2-1/2 length victory on the twice around.  It was only her second win of 2009 but with $175,897 on her seasonal card and $306,331 in career bankings for breeder/owner Brittany Farms.  Perfectionist was previously 3rd in the $364,430 Lady Maud on 11-7-09 at Yonkers, took 2nd in the $73,300 Shady Daisy at Freehold on 9-7-09 and was a winner in 1:52f at Chester in her Valley Forge 2 division on 8-16-09.

Western Ideal’s three year old progeny earnings total over $5 million in 2009 and include leading performer Adios and Cane Pace winner- Vintage Master p,3,1:49.2f ($1,364,352 in 2009).  Western Ideal stands at Hanover Shoe Farms of New Jersey for a $15,000 fee in 2010.

At Dover- Looking Hanover (Muscles Yankee-Lady Bar) 4YOGT t,1:54.3 $26,000 Open Handicap Trot.  Yannick Gingras guided the Edwin Gannon, Jr. pupil to his 6th trip to the winner’s circle this year taking a dominating 4 length win with a 28.3 last panel.  Owned by Gingras and Dawn Gannon, Looking Hanover has earned $135,870 in ’09 with $180,691 on his career card and a record taken this season of 1:54.1f at Chester.  On the board 20 times in 28 starts this season, the four year old previously took 2 second place finishes in $40,000 Opens at Chester last month before finding his winning stride at Dover.

At Northlands Park- Second Fancy (Allamerican Native-Fancy Trouble) 4YOMP p,1:57.2 $12,220 F&M Open.  From 5th into the stretch drive Donald Monkman Jr. guided his trainee to a neck win with a 29.2 final fraction over a snow covered track to take her 6th win of ’09.  Second Fancy earned a 1:55.2h record in a F&M Open at Grand Prairie this past July and has banked $78,156 in her career thus far finishing 26 times on the board this year for owners Don Monkman, Jr. and Don Byrne Stables 2008 Inc.

At Pompano Park- Sweet Track Record for Ideal Filly-

Special Sweetheart (Western Ideal-Ladys Special Girl) 3YOFP p,1:52.1 $13,000 F&M Open Handicap Matt Kakaley piloted a track record mile with the Tom Artandi trainee taking the engine past all quarter fractions from post 6- 26.4, 56, 1:24 and a 28.1 LQ.  It was the sophomore pacer’s 7th victory of the season (10th lifetime) with $498,005 earned in ’09 and $663,291 lifetime for owner/breeder 4 For 3 Stable.  Among her accolades in 2009 are the $350,000 Valley Forge at Chester in 1:51f and NJSS leg at The Meadowlands in a career best record of 1:50.4m.

At Northfield- If I Can Dream returns to winning form in Classic-

If I Can Dream (Western Hanover-Arterra) 3YOCP p,1:52.1 $160,000 Cleveland Classic Tim Tetrick took the lines for Bulletproof Enterprises and trainer Tracy Brainard winning the talented pacer’s 12th of the season after dominating the twice around mile from the ¼ pole.  A quick 27.2 final fraction kept challengers at bay as the sophomore crossed the wire by 2-1/4 lengths the best.  Now a winner of $1,754,429 in 2009 ($1,990,299 lifetime), the son of Western Hanover earned a career best of 1:49.4f at The Meadows in his Adios elimination win and chalked up victories in Breeders Crown, Messenger, Confederation Cup, Tattersalls, and Rooney starts this season.

At Yonkers- Runover Feeling Repeats-

Hanover Bred Runover Feeling (Western Hanover-Caught The Bouquet) 7YOGP p,1:53.1 $36,000 Open George Brennan bridled in the win for conditioner mark Ford and owner Robert Di Nozziin the veteran pacer’s second straight Open Handicap victory at Yonkers.  A winner of $241,550 in ’09 with 6 wins in Opens or Free For All starts, Runover Feeling sports a 1:50s record taken at 3 and $758,395 bankrolled lifetime. 

His dam, Caught The Bouquet, foaled a Bettor’s Delight filly, Catchy Hanover, in 2009 and is back in foal to Dragon Again due in April 2010.

McMurray Hanover (Badlands Hanover-Mud Hen) 2YOGP p,1:54.3 $20,000 Jim Morand was in the driver’s seat taking the Eddie Dennis pupil to the top and winning handily in the pacer’s 5th career victory and lifetime best record for owners Stephanie and Brian Cassell.  Now a winner of $35,044 in ’09, McMurray Hanover heads to round 2 on 11-29-09 with previous wins in the DSBF consolation and Boys of Summer division under his belt in addition to his recent win at Dover.  The $100,000 DSBF Finals will post to gate on 12-6-09.

Vintage Master (Western Ideal-Art’s Vintage) 3YOCP p,1:50.4 $39,082 Daniel Dube drove the Jimmy Takter trainee closing from 6th at the ½ second over and gaining.  A 26.4 final fraction took the win by a ¾ length margin for owners Brittany Farms and Brian P Monieson Revtrust.  Vintage Master sports $1,461,048 on his career card with $1,364,352 banked this season winning 7 times including the $677,665 Delvin Miller Adios (in a career best record of 1:49.2f), $325,000 Cane Pace and $289,500 Tattersalls stakes.

All Or None (Cam’s Card Shark-Heather’s Western) 3YOFP p,1:52 $22,000 F&M Jr Open Corey Callahan corralled the win for conditioner Lorrie Hamilton and North State Street Stable challenging for the lead second over 3rd to the ¾ and taking a 27.4 last quarter to clear the finish first by a half-length.  It was the pacing filly’s 7th win of ’09 and a career best record with $142,743 on her lifetime card.

Three Of Spades (Cam’s Card Shark-Triple Flip) 6YOGP p,1:51.1 $26,000 Open Handicap Jim Morand on the lines for W Bib Roberts and William De Lodovico claimed the wire first by a nose over Western Hanover sired Quality Western in a photo finish.  The pacer took a 1:49.2f record last season earning $213,030 in ’08 and $307,758 lifetime.

At Yonkers- Hanover Bred Runover Feeling (Western Hanover-Caught The Bouquet) 7YOGP p,1:54.2 $36,000 Open Handicap George Brennan bridled in the win for trainer Mark Ford and owner Robert Di Nozzi zipping from 5th in the stretch to the wire a half length in the lead!  Runover Feeling has earned $740,395 lifetime with $223,550 in ’09 taking 5 wins, 10 seconds and 5 thirds this season.

$350,000 Progress Pace- Vertical Horizon (Western Ideal-Summer Mystery) 3YOCP p,1:50.4 Jim Morrill Jr. piloted the winning mile behind the Tracy Brainard trainee for Bulletproof Enterprises giving the pacer his 5th victory of ’09.  Vertical Horizon closed from 5th with a 28.3 final fraction to take the wire first by a half-length margin while likewise sired Vintage Master was 3rd.  It was a career best record for the sophomore pacer who had earned $550,214 this season taking wins previously in his $125,000 Bluegrass Stake division and $85,033 Jersey Cup with 2nd place finishes in $231,500 Mon Circle and $124,762 Simcoe Stake and a 3rd in the $600,000 Breeders Crown Final.

$253,537 Matron Stakes 3YOCT Final- Swan For All (Andover Hall-Swan Lake) 3YOCT t,1:55.1 David Miller motored to the lead past the ½ in 57.3 and controlled the remainder of the mile shrugging off challengers to a 1:26.1 ¾ and opening up to a 1-1/2 length victory at the finish trotting home in 29 flat for trainer Erv Miller and owners John Carver, Mystical Marker Farms LLC and Diamond Creek Farm.  A winner of $179,296 in 2009, Swan For All swept the Matron giving him 4 wins this season (8 lifetime) and was a International Stallion Stake and American National winner as a freshman with $309,986 to his credit lifetime.

$167,250 Matron Stakes 3YOFP Final- Showherthemoney (Cam’s Card Shark-Stienam’s Place) 3YOFP p,1:49.2 Jim Morrill Jr. took the lines for conditioner Tracy Brainard and scored a world record mile after taking a first over route 4th to the ½ on a power drive 1st to the ¾ with a 27.2 3rd panel finishing off the field by 3-1/4 lengths (27.2 LQ) at the wire.  Showherthemoney is no stranger to the winner’s circle winning 12 of 21 starts her sophomore year and banking $735,160 in ’09 with $252,700 Nadia Lobell, $175,000 Miss New Jersey, $168,000 Jugette, $151,500 Garnsey and $101,500 Bluegrass Stakes among her accolades.  Her career card shows $762,881 for Bulletproof Enterprises with a 1:49m record taken this season in her Nadia Lobell victory at The Red Mile.

$214,163 Matron Stakes 3YOFT Final- Yursa Hanover (Windsong’s Legacy-Yankee Topaz) 3YOFT t,1:53.4 Tim Tetrick stalked from the garden spot with the Ben Baillargeon pupil closing strongly with a 28.1 last panel to take first place by 1-1/2 lengths.  Owned by Richard Berthiaume, Yursa Hanover has 7 wins to her credit in 2009 with $367,157 banked as a sophomore.  Among her victories are $168,000 Del Miller in a career best record of 1:53.2m at The Meadowlands, $66,750 Casual Breeze and $42,386 Bud Light.  After sweeping her Matron starts Yursa now sports $701,958 lifetime.

Her dam, Yankee Topaz, sold a SJ’s Caviar yearling colt, Hip # 1123 Pinstripes Hanover, at Harrisburg for $25,000 to Mervin Chupp congratulations on your purchase and best wishes. She foaled a Cantab Hall colt, Yorkie Hanover, in 2009 and is back in foal to Donato Hanover for 2010.

At Balmoral-

$200,000 American National Aged Stake- Won The West (Western Hanover-Gabrielle) 5YOGP p,1:48.2 Dave Palone perfected a 6-1/2 length victory with the Ron Burke trained veteran pacer shooting a 26.1 final panel clocking.  It was the pacer’s 6th victory of 2009 and 26th lifetime.  He previously took a 1:47m career mark at The Meadowlands in his Breeders Crown Final August 22nd and won $322,000 Quillen Memorial at Harrington (in 1:52.4h), and $328,750 US Pacing Championship (in 1:48.1m).  A winner of $785,415 this season, the aged pacer has $2,118,936 on his career card.

$154,000 2YOFP American National Final- Gigglicious (Western Hanover-Giggles The Clown) 2YOFP p,1:55.1 Tim Tetrick triumphed with the Roger Welch owned and trained pacer taking a long road to the wire 8th in outer flow traffic past the 1/2 gaining to 5th past the 3/4 and kicking in a 27 flat final quarter to claim her first career win.  Earning $88,520 in ’09 Gigglicious made a second place finish in her Hayes Stakes at DuQuoin in Sept. and was 3rd in Review Stake at Springfield in August.

3YOC&GT Swan For All (Andover Hall-Swan Lake) 3YOCT t,1:54.1 $42,257 David Miller motored the Erv Miller trained trotter to the lead from post 5 setting off the opening timer in 27 flat and maintained control thru all fractions 56.2, 1:24.4 with a 29.2 final panel clocking to take the wire first by a solid two lengths!  Owner by John Carver, Mystical Marker Farms LLC and Diamond Creek Farm LLC, Swan For All has notched 3 wins in his sophomore belt with $52,528 on his seasonal card and $183,218 lifetime.  The Andover Hall sired colt took 4 trips to the winner’s circle as a freshman including American National and International Stallion Stake wins with a 2YO record of 1:54.3m and now sports a 1:54.1 career best taken in his most recent victory.

Well Said (Western Hanover-Must See) 3YOCP displayed his talent once again this time over a half mile surface at the Delaware County Fair in the 64th edition of the Little Brown Jug.  From post 8 in his $97,464 elimination field regular pilot Ron Pierce set off 7th to the ¼ taking to the outer flow 5th past the ½ and into the ¾ as leader Carnivore set off fractions of 26.3, 55.1, and 1:23.1.  3rd as they hit the Delaware homestretch, Well Said kicked in another gear and passed handily to take the 3-1/4 length victory in 1:51.1h (27.2 LQ) for owners Jeffrey Snyder and Lothlorien in his 10th win of ’09 and 14th lifetime. 

Western Ideal sired Vintage Master was 2nd.

Heading into the $292,392 Second Heat from post 2 Well Said was positioned 4th as first elimination heat winner If I Can Dream (Western Hanover-Arterra) took to the engine with fractions of 27.4, 56.3, 1:24.2.  Covered by Mr Wiggles to the ½ Well Said slung three wide before the ¾ marker and gained position to 2nd challenging If I Can Dream into the stretch before the cheering grandstands.  Neck and neck the pair pulled away from the field by over 9 lengths and Pierce let loose with the Steve Elliot trainee to take the wire first by a length in 1:51.4 (27.1LQ over a track rated good).

$200,000 3YO Colt Trotters- Salutation Hanover (Andover Hall-Swift Kathy) 3YOCT t,1:56.3 Yannick Gingras guided for trainer Ron Burke sitting 4th thru early and mid-fractions after leaving from post 4.  Gaining ground to 3rd in the stretch Salutation dug in a 29.2 final panel to stick his neck in front at the wire for owners Burke Racing Stable LLC, Randy Ringer, Frank Baldachino and David Scharf in his 8th career victory and 4th of the season.  Salutation is a winner of $369,912 lifetime with $207,598 in ’09 taking top three place monies 9 times in 15 starts including wins in Arden Strakes division (in 1:55.1f a career mark) and $36,256 PASS leg (at Pocono).

SJ’s Caviar sired Caviar Crown took show after leading mile fractions (1:56.4 individual time).

$200,000 3YO Colt Pacers- Doubleshotascotch (Dragon Again-Pacific Sister K) 3YOGP p,1:51.4 Jim Morrill Jr. was in the driver’s seat for Noel Daley routing an outer tier trip 6th past the ½ and ¾ and kicking in a 28.1 last panel to pass the competition by a neck margin at the finish.  Owned by David Scharf, Adam Victor & Sons Stable LLC, Lindy Farms of Conn., and Kenneth Tucci, Doubleshotascotch took a career best clocking with the win, his 6th of the season.  A winner of PASS legs at Pocono and The Meadows, the sophomore gelding banked $195,862 in ’09 and boasts $222,982 in career earnings.

3YOFT- Sea Raven (Andover Hall-Rant N Rave) scored a neck win in 1:57.3 for driver David Miller, trainer Kay Gannon and owner/breeder Stephen Anderson.  SJ’s Caviar sired Valeris was 3rd.

3YOCP- Panmunjom (The Panderosa-Pandalay Bay) took a 1-1/4 length victory in 1:52.2 for driver Tim Tetrick, trainer Erv Miller and owner/breeder Peter Pan Stables.

Likewise sired Pangiorno was third.

3YOFP- Surveille Hanover (The Panderosa-Shades of Art) scored a half length win in 1:53.2 with Tim Tetrick on the lines for George Teague Jr. Inc.  The Panderosa sired Boldnbrash Hanover (Bold Pink) was 3rd.

3YOCT- Shibboleth Hanover (SJ’s Caviar-Sos Fire Fly) trotted to a 1:56.3 victory by a neck margin for driver Mike Simons, trainer Clarence Martin Jr. and owners Maple Ridge Stable of PA Inc. and Mary Martin. 

Also at Pocono- Hanover Bred Riggins (Art Major-Towner’s Image) 4YOHP p,1:51.4 $30,000 Open Handicap Tim Tetrick triumphed with the Tracy Brainard conditioned pacer in his 6th trip to the winner’s circle this season and 15th lifetime.  Riggins boasts a lifetime best record of 1:48.4m taken this season at The Meadowlands in a 4YO Preferred Pace on 8-8-09 and sports $681,288 in career accolades.  His dam, Towner’s Image, was bred to Western Ideal in 2009.

And on 9-15-09- Up Front Hotsey (SJ’s Caviar-Dixieland Jazz) 6YOMT t,1:54.2 $30,000 Open Handicap Andrew McCarthy set the Noel Daley trained trotter on fire to beat the boys by a half length margin at the wire with a 27.3 LQ.  It was the veteran trotting mare’s 5th victory of the season and 17th lifetime.  Owned by Ed Mullinax and Frank Dettore, Up Front Hotsey has won $102,450 this season and took a new career best record at The Meadowlands on 7-3-09 in a $27,500 Mares Preferred trotting in 1:52.4.  Her lifetime bankings total $430,253 to date.
